Re: learning curve

Kev. I am interested to explore the SEND TO Tidlywinks feature. This could be useful to maintain items outside of Awasu. May I ask the steps to 'set up' the send-to function. Or is documented somewhere?

Since upgrading to Win7(64bit) my language translation channels no longer work. Any suggestions (Kev)?

Thanks for the workaround tips Kev. I am pretty much doing as you suggested at present. Again, this is not a show stopper for me. But perhaps a 'nice to have' in version 6!!

BTW. If I have more WorkPad Icons than can be viewed at any one time in the Task Window, does a scroll bar appear?

Me a little confused now. I was suggesting an infinite number of WorkPads per 'hypothetical' WorkPad parent folder. If this requires major structural change then don't worry. However, please do appreciate that WorkPads are important tools even if you didn't give them too much thought in the early da...

I have a number of principal collection themes. Each theme may require a number of workpads.

I tree, even if it only went to one depth would be helpful. Unless you can think of a better or alternate organisation strategy.

Organised Work Pads

I would like to humbly request that WorkPads be organised in a tree format that can be expanded and colapsed.

Generating RSS

This question may be slightly off topic as it may not require Awasu - but I am going to asky anyway! Once I have gather a group of items in a workpad, I can run a report that I could email or upload to a webpage. But, how could I generate an RSS feed for these items that someone else could view them...

Add notes

When I right click on an item in a Work Pad, I'd like to see 'ADD NOTE' option in the menu.

When adding lots of comments to news items, this can save considerable time.

Think I may have worked it out. Channel properties / details / Processing / add file to XSLT section ?? I have it working with the Spiegel Online. I note that it even translates the Channel Name! I also note that when you go to the given news webpage it is not a translated page:-( Still, it's bloody...

Automatic Feed Translation

Like the late Big *Kev from Queensland use to say "I'm excited". Can't wait to get this running but unfortunatley the following is not a step by step guide for idiotoes (that's Italian for idiot). http://www.awasu.com/wiki/Automatic_Feed_Translation Could I have a few more clues on how to ...

Regarding Browsers, I had been using FireForx for while but recently switched back to IE8. So I have had problems with both.

Kev. It's good to be back. I do get distracted for long periods!
