The problem is that the Webpage has this Content-Type header: "text/html; charset=none". WebScrape tries to use the charset given for the page encoding. As reported, "none" is not valid. Taka, does WebScrapeSettings simply ignore encoding issues or is it picking up the encoding elsewhere (for exampl...

Sorry, that was MonitorURLs, which I also updated recently. Thanks for posting it. :D

CombineFeeds is still to come -- today or tomorrow.

Thanks!

Thanks for reporting this. The output looked strange because it had (correctly) been converted to utf-8 in the async I/O library; however, it was (incorrectly) still marked as being iso-8859-1. Therefore the output routine was displaying characters with the wrong encoding. As soon as I can update th...

Here is what I said in an earlier post: I've been playing some with mailto:. {%TITLE%} and {%SELTEXT%} seem to work fine; however, {%URL%} never yields anything. Does it depend on context, am I doing something wrong, or what? I want to be able to e-mail someone and include all three items. (%URL%} i...

Yes, I realize that. Is "Translate Page" the only context it can be used in? Why isn't it set and usable elsewhere?

To clarify, I have successfully used {%TITLE%} and {%SELTEXT%} with mailto:, but using {%URL%} at the same time produced nothing.

Could you give an example, please? I would like to know when and how to use it. I've seen the translation Tool, but when/where will {%URL%} be filled in?

Thanks

I changed the plugin to generate links that are unique -- a kludge, but it seems to work for now.

Taka can clarify the details of Awasu's visual "hints", but I notice bold channel names after Awasu has updated a channel in the background and it has new items.

Because Awasu does not simply display all items in a channel. There are many filtering options.

HistoryFile is one of the channel parameters. Look at the Plugin tab of the channel's properties.

Please also check your e-mail.

Since an item for each monitored URL in the channel is appearing in the Show Last Feed display, it means the plugin is running and returning results (without errors as far as the plugin is concerned). Perhaps Taka can jump in and help with the display (grayed out, etc.) issues. Regarding the time-ou...

That does make it a bit challenging... :?

Is creating a user Tool the right alternative?

Thanks
