Hi,
Quite some time ago I set up Awasu to pull 2 feeds from MSNBC; Under Top Headlines, Top Stories and World News. Awasu is now reporting a problem with both feeds and I have no idea what is not working. The feeds are listed here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5216556/ If you could enlighten me, I would be very grateful.
Thanks so much in adcance!
Sue

What exactly is the error? What are the feed URL's? Have you checked them at the Feed Validator?

I have and feed validator is reporting there's a problem with the link, but they are a major corporation, so how could it be that their links aren't working, and it has been several weeks? That's why I was hoping your could look at them and see if you can see what the problem is.
Thanks!
Sue

Being a major multi-national is no guarantee of anything!

I can but you need to post the specific URL's that aren't working. There are a lot on that page :-|

What version and edition of Awasu are you using? These feeds are working fine for me.

version 2.2

all my other feeds are working fine.

I also wasn't able to subscribe to the feeds at www.rssapplied.com so your insties there would also be helpful.
Thanks!

I've confirmed that 2.2 won't subscribe to the MSNBC feeds but they seem to have a few errors in them so you're probably best off reporting them and hope they get fixed.

They work in 2.2.3 so I think I must've added something to make Awasu a bit more lenient about these kinds of errors

What URL's are you trying to subscribe to? What's the error message? I can subscribe OK in 2.2.

Oh! ok, I'll update to 2.23. I had tried to subscribe to all the feeds at rssapplied and none of them would work.

I'll update then try again.
Thanks!!

Anything with three digits in the version number is a beta release and has to be installed manually. You will need to upgrade to 2.2.1, then 2.2.3.

There are a few things to do and while it's not hard, you do need to read the instructions carefully :-)
