I created a news page on a given subject, a section according to Google :), in Google news , and I am trying to create a channel from the url
with the CREATE NOW button but I get an HTTP 503 Service Unavailable answer.

I did add "&output=rss" at the end of url and was then able to get the top stories of Google, but no news of my personal news page or section.

Can you help? Thanks!

Can you post the exact URL you're trying to subscribe to.

So how do you get at it? If you need to logon first to get the feed, try doing this from within Awasu, then updating the feed.

I haven t been able to load anything except the main google news feeds!

You can check yourself... create a google news "section" and try to create a new channel based on this url.

For the time being my trial period just ended and if I cannot do something as simple as the preceding, there is no point of buying the pro version.

Wish I had more time to play around the Awasu shell with a programmer!

Thanks anyway!

Marcel, can you subscribe to this private Google news section in any other software?

I created a private Google news section named "agriculture brasil
" using the keywords "agriculture brasil" and I can not subscribe to the feed in Firefox, Internet Explorer or Awasu, but I can easily subscribe to public Google news sections in Awasu as well as the web browsers.

So it looks like this is not a limitation of Awasu, it's a limitation of Google; Google has not provided a way to create a feed from a private news section. :evil:

Make your Google news sections public and you should be able to subscribe to them in Awasu.

I've reset your trial key on the server so you can get another trial period.

You also need to open your CONFIG.INI file in Notepad and find the line that says [Trial Key] and delete it and every line following (there should be 5 of them), up to (but not including) the next line that enclosed in square brackets. It should look something like this:

Code: Select all

[Trial Key]
1=...
2=...
3=...
4=...
5=...

Then when you restart Awasu, it will ask you to get a new trial key.
