This is intended as a convenience feature (e.g. for people with laptops who want to load up their Awasu with content before they go on a train or something like that, where there's no internet connection), not really for archiving content.

How are you checking this? This sounds like you're talking about the queue for downloading enclosures (e.g. podcasts), which doesn't really have anything to do with archiving content.

If you want to archive content, the way to do it is just let Awasu download and archive it for you (which happens automatically), or use the MySQL plugin.

thank you very much for the response, i greatly appreciate it, well i was referring to the same thing you told me, about awasu downloading it automatically for me........ the problem is it sometimes does not download at all, or sometimes downloads very slow.
i really hope there is something i could be told to do to make it more efficient than this.

thanks a lot. thanks :)

Awasu uses a Microsoft component to do the downloads and unfortunately, it's not very good. It's slow and unstable, so if it crashes, Awasu re-schedules the download for later, so it might take some time for the download to succeed. I had a look around for alternatives, but this was the only one :(

However, there are some other options. If you just want the HTML page, it's easy to write a plugin to grab it. If you can code a bit, I can post something here to get you started, otherwise shoot me an email if you'd like me to write something for you.

If you want the associated images and other stuff as well, that's a bit more complicated. We could maybe get Firefox or wget to download the page and do a "Save Page As", although it's a bit messy.
