Trying to set up FTP synchronize, and on the work machine behind a firewall the connection fails. The FTP proxy on our network requires you to login to it with the USER remotename@remotehost command.

There's no way to get Awasu to do this explicitly. If you can set the authentication details in the IE options, Awasu might pick it up from there.

Failing that, you can always save the sync data to a file on your PC and then run a script after it's done to manually FTP it.
