Hi,

Does anyone know how to export all the channels from Awasu to an OPML file? So that I can then import into my rss viewer on my Pocket PC.

Cheers
Paul

Look at channel reports. There is a template called ExportOpml.template that will do what you want.

That template does not seem to be there in 2.04 Personal Edition

The file's definitely there. It should be at <tt>C:\Program Files\Awasu\Resources\Report Templates\ExportOpml.template</tt>

Otherwise, it looks like this:

Code: Select all

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>

<opml version="1.1">

<head>
    <title>OPML Export</title>
</head>

<body>
{%REPEAT% Channels}
    <outline xmlUrl="{%ENCODED-CHANNEL-URL%}" title="{%ENCODED-CHANNEL-NAME%}"/>
{%/REPEAT%}
</body>

</opml>

Sorry, I should have said it's not available in the drop-down list on the Channel Reports screen (which is what was originally suggested as a place to find it). How do you use it, then?

To export your channels to OPML:

- Open the "Organize channel reports" dialog.
- Click on the small yellow square icon to create a new report.
- Choose a channel filter to control which channels to include e.g. "All"
- For the template file, browse to ExportOpml.template
- Specify where you want to save the results ("Output file").
- Click OK to save the new report.

Then, from the main "Organize channel reports" dialog, click OK to actually generate the report.
