I've created a channel report, and when I try to create a channel from it, I get a parser error. The very beginning of the html looks like this:
<HTML> <HEAD> <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" CONTENT="text/html; charset=utf-8"> </HEAD> <!-- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - --> It looks like there is a missing end tag for the META tag, and I think that is what is causing the problem. The reports I ran yesterday didn't seem to have this problem, so I am confused... Any ideas? |

If you want to create a channel from the report's output, it must be XML, not HTML. HTML is used to make web pages, XML is used to transfer information between computers.
Take a look at the <tt>MetaChannel.template</tt> file (in the <tt>Resources/Report Templates</tt> directory) for an example. More info at the bottom of this page. |

Now when I try (using the metachannel template), every time I try one I get this error when creating the channel:
XML parse failed (6:L1352/C94): partial character |

This is happening because one of the feed items you're inserting contains a character that is not allowed in XML.
Email us a copy of the generated report file and we'll take a look at it. |
