 Odd FeedI'm getting a feed from feedburner that has html in it. Is there a plugin or something that I can use to clean up the feed?

If you want to see the feed with no HTML, you can configure the channel to show a plain-text version of the feed items. Open the channel's Properties dialog and change the <i>Feed content</i> setting in the bottom-right of the first page. |

I had a closer look at what's happening and there's something a bit odd going on.
What version of Awasu are you using? Are you using Mozilla as the embedded browser? |

Advanced Edition 2.2
Using the default (IE6 sp2) as the browser Running XP Pro. Their atom feed from the site (well, behind the site) works fine, but it only feeds the last 5 entries, I'd rather use the feedburner feed. |

The problem is with the feed.
They are providing the item content in <summary> tags but not specifying a <i>type</i> attribute. The Atom 0.3 specification clearly states that in this situation, the content is to be treated as <i>text/plain</i> which is why you're seeing all the HTML markup. This problem may be being caused by either FeedBurner or the feed publisher themselves. BTW, the FeedBurner feed is also Atom and also appears to only return 5 items. I couldn't find another feed on the site. |
