Post Crashes on right-click in system tray (Windows 98)
Hi - I am finding a problem when I minimize Awasu to the system tray, then right-click it (e.g. to see selected feed items). It crashes every time.

The message that comes up is similar to the following:

AWASU caused an invalid page fault in
module <unknown> at 0000:02eb0eb1.

Is this Marc Fraser, as in running Awasu 1.1.3 on Windows 98 Marc Fraser? :-)

I'll take a look.

Yes it is  So used to abbreviating on the web that it's become habit now. Thanks.

One real bonus with v.1.1.3 is speed - much quicker!

Sorry about the delay in responding to this one. I couldn't reproduce this when you first reported it but it's happening now

This is a weird one and appears to be caused by a bug in MFC (Microsoft's GUI toolkit). It might be possible to work around it but I'm keeping changes to an absolute minimum at this point (in the interests of program stability) since we are preparing the 1.2 release. It'll have to be a known issue for the moment and I'll look at it again after that.

Hi - thanks for that. To be honest, I've got used to not using it now - the newer version was so much faster and more stable that the problem was insignificant.

Cheers,
Marc
