Hi,
i am using W2k (up to Date) and Awasu 2.4. Every (?) time after I close Awasu a MessageBox pops up, with the following message: Code: Assertion failed: Programm: c:\Programme\Awasu\Awasu.exe File: dev\main\search2\src\indexResource.cpp Expression: ! mlsOptimizePending Hope that helps Gerd |

This comes up every now and then, not sure why.
You can either delete all the files in your <tt>Index</tt> sub-directory or, if you use Awasu's search functionality, run <tt>ADMIN.EXE</tt> and rebuild the search index. |

Thanks for the fast awnser,
deleting the index directory worked. It consisted of 1750 files, 450 MB! And I only have 21 feeds subscribed. Awasu also seems to run faster now. Best regards Gerd |

For example, you only have 21 feeds but if they all have lots of very long articles that you're keeping for a long time, the size of the search index will reflect that. Yes, updating the search index takes some time so there are options to either turn it off all together or to defer updating it to off-peak times. |
