I am only receiving Awasu RSS feeds -- no other valid, tested RSS feeds are received. I am using a proxy SSH, which has no problem(s) with Awasu feeds, but any other feeds (available to other readers) result in the error message (balloon: in the lower right screen area):

A "background job error" indicates a problem with things that Awasu runs in the background e.g. auto-generating reports, downloading enclosures, etc., not specifically something to do with updating channels.

However, the background job is probably failing for the same reason that your channels are not updating. Can you run Awasu again and try to update a bunch of channels, some that fail, some that work OK. Then send us the following files:

- C:\Program Files\Awasu\Users\YOUR-NAME\config.ini
- C:\Program Files\Awasu\Users\YOUR-NAME\Logs\AwasuActivity.log
- C:\Program Files\Awasu\Users\YOUR-NAME\Logs\AwasuError.log

The fact that feeds coming from awasu.com are OK but everything else is not suggests that there might be a configuration problem with your proxy - it's allowing requests coming from awasu.exe to access anything at awasu.com but nothing else.

Perhaps firewall configuration?

Firstly, apparently Awasu feeds are now also included in unreceived RSS feeds.

Firewall is configured to accept Third Party cookies, which is commonly a setting that when unadmitted cripples functionality of web sites, client apps.

I'm a little puzzled by this error log. There is only one place this error message is issued and if it happens, Awasu also logs *why* it failed. But in your log, it's not logged.
