Can Awasu suck in Twitter as a feed / channel?

I looked up the help on Twitter; it only appeared to related to outgoing.

You mean that you want to someone's Twitter status updates (tweets), yes you can. There should be a feed icon about halfway down the right side of the page or your web browser (Firefox or Internet Explorer) should auto-discover a couple of different feeds on a tweeter's page. Take a look at my low-volume page for an example.

Thanks. Didn't realise that Twitter outputs RSS.

I've got it to work. But it take a bit of effort to type in the Authentication details. This is a hassle if you want to follow a hundred tweeters or so. But guess there is no drag and drop solution.

Hmm... I'm following four tweeters right now and I don't remember having to type in the authentication details, maybe it's because I don't log out of my Twitter acct. and my credentials are stored in a cookie.

Remember, Awasu has the "Services" mini dialog within the "New Channel" dialog box. You should be able to type in a Tweeter's name, if you know it, and follow them with a couple of mouse clicks.

Thanks for the services tip. I didn't realize.

BTW have you tried to subscribe to a tweet ONLY through Awasu i.e. not one that you are following on your Twitter portal?[/b]

Yes that is exactly and exclusively what I'm doing. The four Awasu-subscribed Tweeters are not "followed" on my Twitter page and vice versa. And it's been a very simple process for me to subscribe using the latest version of Awasu, but I don't think the current version makes a big difference, as they're just plain old feeds (POF).
