I have the Awasu personal edition 2.4.2 and I'm thrilled with everything -but- the fact that it won't read my favorite feed: Smashing Magazine. I believe it's an Atom 1.0 feed, and I've tried the webScrape and MonitorURL channel plugins, but they still come up with the same error: Gzip decompression failure: rc=-5 for SmashingMag's URL feed link: http://rss1.smashingmagazine.com/feed/

I'm not super tech-saavy, so I'm not sure how to make this work for me, and also do not quite understand how to go about it after reading the Validation page: http://www.feedvalidator.org/check.cgi? ... .com/feed/

Help? Am I doing something wrong here?

I can't see why the library is having trouble with this feed but you can work around the problem by using this plugin. It merges multiple feeds into a single feed but it works fine even if you only have one feed

Interesting problem. Does this mean Smashing Magazine is gzipped? Is this common with RSS feeds? I guess it makes things a lot faster. Awasu usually doesnt have any trouble with gzip? Either way, thanks for the plugin - its a good thing to have.
