I'm using several french feeds and most words have accent marks.
It's correctly display in the original feed but when I'm using the Composite feed feature, all the accent marks are replaced by strange signs like @ or Ã. Is there something I've missed or is it a bug ? Thanks |

For Example, les Echos which is one of the leading newspaper in france
http://www.lesechos.fr/rss/rss_distri.xml http://www.lesechos.fr/rss/rss_conso.xml These 2 feeds works perfectly with Awasu but when I combine them, the accent marks are not working. Thanks |

Thanks for reporting this. The output looked strange because it had (correctly) been converted to utf-8 in the async I/O library; however, it was (incorrectly) still marked as being iso-8859-1. Therefore the output routine was displaying characters with the wrong encoding.
As soon as I can update the Release Notes I'll send the new version to Taka so he can make it available. Thanks again. Allan |
