I normally put all my progs in one partition and my data in another partition. In a nutshell, I keep programs and data separated, for backup and security purpose.

I looked around and did not find a way to move Awasu Data from under Awasu directory.

Awasu defaulting it's data into My Documents would suit me fine, and the option to choose wherever I want to put the data would be even more appropriate.

- Can it be done in the current version (meaning did I miss something) ?
- Is this something I can hope to be implemented in a future version.

Thanks for vour help.

Best regards,

Louis

Yes, this can be done.

Create a file called DEBUG.INI in the Awasu installation directory. You can either move the main Users directory (and hence, all user home directories) like this:

Code: Select all

[Debug]
UsersDir=...

or just one specific user home directory, like this:

Code: Select all

[Debug]
UserHomeDir_XXX=...

where XXX is the user's account name.

What I'd like to see is Awasu do this by default...

Rather than being in %SYSTEMDRIVE%\Program Files\Awasu\Users\%USERNAME%\

I would prefer them to be in %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\Awasu\

or %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Awasu\

Either of these two is where other feed readers I have used have put the data.

Cheers,
Mark.
