Awasu 2.2.1 (30 April 2006)
This release introduced the ability to keep using Awasu, even when you are offline. Both images embedded in feeds and linked-to feed items are downloaded and saved so that they can still be shown, even if you are not connected.
The other big new feature was support for Atom 1.0, a new way of publishing feeds that fixes a lot of the problems that crop up when using RSS.
One consequence of this was a complete revamping of the way Awasu handles feed content internally, resulting in a much smarter and more powerful template processing engine.
This in turn allowed for more flexible report and channel summary templates.
