Awasu » Awasu 2.2.5.alpha2 released
Friday 19th January 2007 1:49 PM [Awasu News]

The second 2.2.5 alpha release (what's this?) is now available here.

Building on the work in the first alpha release, this release tightens up some loose ends and fixes a bunch of minor issues.

The main changes are Awasu now stores your data files in the standard Windows locations and passwords are stored in a much more secure manner. Please note that this second change means that you will have to re-enter your license key and any passwords that you may have put into Awasu so please make sure you have them handy before upgrading to this release.

We're coming up to the final run towards the 2.3 release. There have been a lot of really cool and useful features added over the past 12 months and it's about time we packaged them all up and booted it out the door for the non-bleeding-edgers to use 🙂 Then we can start slaving away on the next round of Awasu goodness :whip:

Have fun, everyone. I'm off to the pub 😎

The download for the Advanced Edition is only 193KB.
I guess that it went to the pub too 😉

That's bizarre. I MD5'ed everything after uploading and everything was *definitely* OK. I've been having all kinds of connectivity problems today so I blame that 😐 Everything should be OK now.

Thanks for letting us know.

Have your say
