A useful primer to Integer overflows/underflows

1 bottle of beer on the wall, 1 bottle of beer, you take 1 down, pass it around, 0 bottles of beer on the wall.

0 bottles of beer on the wall, 0 bottles of beer, you take 1 down, pass it around, 4294967295 bottles of beer on the wall.

Apologies if you don't get it but it really is very funny. Just be glad you're not so much of a geek that you get it 🙂

Neat

Funny, I was just thinking, you know 4294967295 is the largest odd number of sides for which a regular polygon can be constructed using a compass and straightedge. This construction is possible only if the number is a product of distinct Fermat primes (3, 5, 17, 257 or 65537).

Have your say
