Some crucial engineering equivalences:

  • If something is physically impossible, then it is really hard.
  • If something is possible but you don't know how to do it, then it is hard. Even if, once you knew how to do it, it wouldn't take much time or work.
  • If you know how to do something, it is easy. Even if it takes a long time and requires lots of work.
  • If you know how to do something and it won't take long, then it is done.

OK, so I've been playing a lot of music and not much computing recently. Just trying to find my geek inner self again. I know it's in there somewhere...

Me too!! 🙂 But I hope that's non-RIAA (and all it's affiliates) music. That's where I've been lately. Building my indie music collection!!! kyo.

When I say playing music, I mean playing as a musician 🙂

I alternate between working as a computer programmer and professional saxophonist. Software is more lucrative but blowing the blues is better for the soul!

That's even better! Let us know if you ever put some of your music online. A great free site for indie artists is http://www.dmusic.com. Check it out sometime. 🙂 kyo.

Have your say
