This channel hook sends out an email when the attached channel starts getting update errors. This is useful if you want to monitor an important feed e.g. your blog's, in case you accidentally introduce errors, perhaps by copying in stuff from somewhere else.

Instructions

The recommended location is the ChannelHooks directory in Awasu's installation directory.

  • Open the Properties dialog for the channel you want to attach the hook to. Go to the Advanced tab, add the channel hook and configure it appropriately.

The Subject parameter recognizes one parameter, {%CHANNEL-NAME%}, that will be replaced with the channel's name.
