This channel plugin downloads a feed and modifies it to include or exclude items if they contain certain words (or match regular expressions).

  • Unpack the following zip file somewhere (recommended location is the ChannelPlugins directory in Awasu's installation directory)
  • Start the Channel Wizard and browse to the plugin's executable (FilterFeedItems.exe).
  • In the second page of the Channel Wizard, enter the URL of the feed you want to monitor and the regular expressions you want to look for.

This is a work in progress. In particular, the plugin currently outputs a very simplified form of the original feed, discarding a lot of information that may have been in the original feed.

Source is included for this plugin so if someone would like to upgrade the plugin to overcome this limitation, please send in your changes and we'll post the updated version here.
